My own Maternity Shoot.

Grace 6lbs.9oz. and Alaina Noe'-elle 5lbs.12oz. are here... and precious and beautiful as only fresh newborn bitty baby girls can be.

Doing your own maternity photos is a little more difficult than I might have imagined, especially at one point when I seriously could hardly get up off the ground after having set the camera up. I usually lay on my stomach to take pics but with the obvious hindrance, I was laying on my side. 

I am so thrilled with these. I feel so maternal. I love that I will have pics of the baby belly to look back on. I didn't get any with my other pregnancies, and this was my last chance!

Oh, brother!

 

These brothers were so much fun to photograph. The whole family was great to work with, and I loved the way they interacted with each other so sweetly and effortlessly. Also, mom made for a great model. Tidbits from my Christmas

Ok, so while Jim has already been in Guam for sometime now, Isaac, Kayleigh-ann and I are waiting here with my mother in Flo-town to have these babies any minute. Apparantly the Navy is not too keen on having twins delivered in Guam. All of my work is obviously on hold right now with this major life change going on (both the moving to the other side of the world and the welcoming and adjusting to surprise twins!). Buy hey I get to catch up on a year's worth of blogging... so...

Kayleigh-ann was Mary in a church play and Isaac was a shepherd. I couldn't resist doing a few of them all decked out in their little costumes.

  

 

 

 

  And I also had a kinda grunge Christmas thingy going for cards that I just never got to- hey if 9mo. pregnant with twins isn't a good excuse for skipping Christmas cards one year... there's not one.

 

  

  

 

We also made the coolest gingerbread houses ever!!!

 

 

 

Awesome family in Charleston.

 

I had the most fun with this famiy. They were up for anything and everything (note the trampoline) and were gorgeous also! What more can a photog ask for. Just the sweetest little guy.

This little guy was just the sweetest thing. You can tell how much these parents just adore him! I loved their red chair and rocking horse.

 

 

 

  

  

  

  

  

 

 

 

  

  

  

 

Great dress!

This was a great bridal session. I loved the vintage feel of the dress. Felt very glamorous, very vintage Hollywood. And, as you can see, the bride was gorgeous too.

 

 

  

  

  

  

 

 

  

  

  

  

 

  

 

 

 

I love kilts!

 

 

 This family's shoot turned out so great. Each of the boys was so adorable and when they broke out the Scottish stuff, I was in photographer heaven! Three times the fun.

  I had the privilege of photographing a family with TRIPLETS which is very near and dear to my heart now that my twins are on the way! We started at their home and went from there. I even grabbed a couple of mom and dad at the end of the shoot. And a couple of mom by herself which I always love to do. I had mom and dad lift the triplets to the kitchen counter at one point and I had to laugh that when a mom of singles hears the word  triplets that is the exact image that springs to mind. They were a blast to shoot! The first image is their choice for a huge, huge canvas. I love that one too.

Wedded Bliss

This was such a high energy wedding. Emotions were all over the place so it was easy to photograph. And the fact that it was so beautiful didn't hurt the images either! Putting the album together reminded me to post some on the blog for all to enjoy.

   

Model Mom

  After speaking with this sweet family recently, I realized I never posted some of my faves from their shoot several months ago. Mom was a model if you couldn't tell and I think those sweet girls may just be following in her footsteps!

And, also, the first one won a Fugi Masterpiece Award for me! woohoo!
